Welcome

Thank you for visiting

After completing six years of active duty military service, I began my professional photographic career as a Police Crime Scene Photographer.  During my time photographing "graphic"(blood filled) images, I turned my camera lens toward a more private life photographing weddings and fashion, I'm certain most can understand this thought process.  I have been lucky with a few fashion and swimsuit layouts being published or featured (since 1987) local, state, nationally, as well as internationally.

One day, after 16 years of shooting, I lost interest.  So I decided to put my gear (cameras) away, thinking I would never seriously photograph again.  The word "never" can be a challenging word.  After a couple of years of contemplation - I enrolled into new training.

GraduateNew York Institute of Photography, in Photojournalism.

During my training, I discovered that I enjoy / prefer shooting Sports Action Photography (a genre of photojournalism.)  I enjoy the action and challenge of capturing competitive personalities before, during, and after competition.  I also enjoy photographing those that spectate - they too are competing in their own way.

During the past few months, I have had several request to "change" my Homepage presentation.  Apparently, more people than I expected really have taken a few minutes to view my Homepage more than a few times.  Some of (or all) have become tired of the "same old" shots.  So, I have temporarily changed / updated the Homepage.  Actually, I had forgotten about this site, so I'll be adding too and re-arranging the page on a more regular basis.

Thanks to those of you that have actually taken the time to view my Homepage.  I will try to be more attentive to my updates.  Most shots are prepared for the journalistic (story line) value,  with a few extras "sprinkled-in."

Again, thank you for visiting, and taking the time to remind me that I have forgotten this page and asked for a new look.
